Every other year, the Benjamin Center for Public Policy at SUNY New Paltz administers a youth development survey for the Council on Addiction Prevention and Education (CAPE) of Dutchess County. This survey is conducted with all students in Dutchess County schools in grades 8, 10 and 12. This survey provides valuable data to the county allowing for the support and development of prevention activities to increase the safety and well being of children in Dutchess County.
Youth participation includes completing an anonymous on-line survey scheduled into available time during school. Youth will not need to log in or otherwise identify themselves to participate, and all results will be reported in aggregate for each school.
The survey willl be administered to all students beginning on December 1.
