Middletown Township Public Schools Academies Input Survey
Over the course of the past few years, our district has launched three High School Pathways which are available to all students: Business Management, Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics, and Government Law and Public Policy. The Pathways concentrate electives in the chosen field of study that students may be considering as a possible future career.  Many high schools in and around our state also offer students the option to participate in an Academy while they are in high school.  An Academy provides more in-depth learning opportunities for students with previously identified skills, talents, passions, and experiences. Students who have an interest in enrolling in an Academy will need to submit an application and participate in a rigorous portfolio review and/or audition. Some Academy courses may be exclusive to accepted students.

In keeping with our Strategic Plan, the District is exploring the possibility of creating two Academies effective Fall, 2018:
- Digital Media Arts and Design Academy
- Fine, Performing, and Practical Arts Academy

The Digital Media Arts and Design Academy will immerse students in courses of study that may include broadcasting, graphic design, photography, TV production, film production, video game design, website design, etc.

The Fine, Performing, and Practical Arts Academy will immerse students in courses of study that may include dance, drama, instrumental music, vocal music, drawing, painting, sculpture, etc.

Therefore, we are seeking your feedback regarding Academy options that you would like to see offered at both Middletown High School North and Middletown High School South.  Please take our survey to provide your input.
