Through the Blue Ridge Mountain Heritage Program, the Piedmont Environmental Council honors the history and heritage of the many hundreds of families that once called the Blue Ridge Mountains home through a variety of activities, events and partnerships.

This survey is intended to collect information on what historic sites are important to the communities around the Blue Ridge Mountains in order to inform future preservation efforts.
