The 6 Hour Legal Terminology class is required by the Dispute Resolution Commission for all prospective mediators who are not attorneys to familiarize themselves with the legal aspects of court-ordered mediation.

​This course satisfies the “Introduction to NC Courts” requirement for both the Civil Superior Court Program and the Family Financial Mediation Program under Rule 8.B.(2)(a).
