Our second annual Shabbat Mystery Lunch will enable Beth David members to celebrate a shabbat meal with other people in the congregation whom you might not know or with whom you have never really shared a shabbat! Participating singles, couples, and families will be matched up for a shabbat lunch as a way to meet and interact with new friends. Guests will be contacted in advance by someone from the Shabbat Mystery Lunch Task Force and will be asked to bring Kosher wine and/or Parve dessert. Last year we had nearly 70 people participate and hope for even more this year.

Here is how it works:
● Indicate in the form below whether you would like to participate as a host or a guest.
● Hosts will indicate the number of guests that they are willing to have, whether there are pets in the house, and if it is a “child-friendly” house.
● Guests will indicate the number of of adults and children, as well as any special food needs or allergies.
● Mystery match-ups will be organized by the Mystery Lunch Task Force.
● Hosts will be informed ONLY about the number of guests assigned to their meal and any allergies their guests may have.
● Guests will be given ONLY the address of their hosts on Shabbat at the synagogue Kiddush following services.
● On the Shabbat of June 2, guests will go home with their hosts (or meet them at the house.)
● Hosts and guests will enjoy a lovely shabbat meal together, while also making new friends!
