About the Facilitator:
I am a queer xicana yerbera who was born in Mexico and grew up in El Monte, CA. My class facilitation style is very hands on, collective, and engaging. In learning spaces that I facilitate, I share what I know and I am also super invested in providing a mutual learning experience where people are encouraged to share their own knowledge and contribute what they know. I have been facilitating spaces for over 10 years and have been doing skill shares in the community consistently for the last 5 years. I also have a background in teaching and restorative justice so I am excited to be combining all these skills in the curriculum and learning space we will create together.  If you have more questions about what I do, feel free to visit my website www.berenicedimas.com or contact me directly.  ~ Thank you so much for your interest. I am so excited for us to be making medicine together.
