The Individual Delegate Award waives the Individual Delegate Fee and the Delegation Fee, which combined range from $170 to $215. The award will be granted to individuals with demonstrated financial need and who are dedicated to upholding the values of Model United Nations and, in particular, the Security Council Simulation at Yale.

Note, that if you apply for the individual delegate award but are a member of a two or more person delegation, you are ineligible for the delegation fee waiver. However, you will still be considered for the individual delegate fee waiver. Furthermore, SCSY reserves the right to grant a partial allocation of the Award based off the number of applications received and financial need assessment.

Upon submission, within 24 hours, you will be sent a response from the Director General of Operations confirming receipt of the application. Applicants will be notified of the decision on a rolling basis. The deadline for applications is Sunday, August 26th at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
