The pitch for the show is below, so you can learn a bit more about the project. In short: we want to feature recent research papers from our community! If you have a paper you’d want to be read for the show AND you’d be willing to do a 30-minute live chat with one of us to answer viewer questions, please let us know using this form! Two trained researchers and science communicators, Gabi Serrato Marks and Susanna Harris, meet online to discuss trending topics and read original research papers. The catch? All research discussed in this virtual journal club must be outside of their fields of study. Each week, Gabi and Susanna either meet for a IGTV journal club meeting or follow up with one of the research paper’s authors to answer to viewer’s questions on IG Live.
