Social Impact Festival 2018 'Impact Sparker Event' Expression of Interest
Please complete the following form by Friday 27 April to express your interest in hosting an Impact Sparker Event in the Social Impact Festival 2018 (1 - 31 July 2018).

ABOUT IMPACT SPARKER EVENTS

Impact Sparker Events are the 'Fringe' of the Social Impact Festival, and *spark* impact wherever the event is held, whether it's in the Perth CBD, the metro area, a regional centre, or remote area. When we say 'event', it could mean a typical event (e.g. panel discussion, roundtable, showcase, launch, etc.) or an experience (e.g. tour, capacity building program, etc.).

These events/experiences are about us collectively sparking and creating positive social impact. It is about us growing and shaping a future we want to live in, one that is equitable, sustainable and where people are healthy and strong. A future where we have personal, community and societal wellbeing.

We're completely open to your ideas, whatever the event/experience is, as long as it helps in the collective progress towards positive social impact and societal wellbeing.

It's not about putting on an event 'for event's sake', but rather for noticing,  amplifying and growing good work that's already happening. For example, you may already have something happening in July that we can help promote, or perhaps you have an idea but don't know when to do it, or perhaps you would like to take the opportunity to try something new and experiment...

SOCIETAL WELLBEING

The ultimate aim of this year's Festival and other work of the Centre for Social Impact UWA is to make significant positive shifts towards Societal Wellbeing. By this we mean working towards:
Equitable Futures - a just, fair society for all where the dignity of all humans is upheld
Sustainable Futures - regenerative and sustainable systems, particularly natural systems and the economy
Healthy & Strong Futures - healthy and strong individuals who have the capacity to thrive in their communities

AVAILABLE DATES

Impact Sparker Events can happen on any date in July, however we strongly recommend the following dates are avoided due to other major events taking place: 7, 19, 20 July
