WHAT:  ELA Curricula Workshops - StudySync, Wonders, All About Reading, Ti and Mo

WHO:  Parents and students are invited to attend these workshops covering our new English Language Arts curricula.

CHILDCARE:  Will be available for siblings/students in K-1.  Please indicate the number of children who will need childcare in the form below.

► 9:00-10:15 ~  Wonders.  We're excited to host our first McGraw-Hill Wonders hands-on writing workshop for parents AND their 2nd-6th grade student(s)!  Participate in a modeled lesson for personal narrative writing and interact with other students within grade level groups.  There will also be a time for questions you may have regarding the Wonders curriculum now that you've had a chance to implement it at home.
 
► 10:30-12:00 ~ K-1: Ti and Mo / All About Reading.  Our K-1 ELA Workshop will provide time to discuss with your K-1 Support team (Arianne, Frieda, Karen, and Shelly) and one another how the use of either Ti and Mo or All About Reading is progressing.  Following that time, we will be training our parent educators about the development of reading and writing skills in 5 and 6 year olds.  It's amazing!
 
► 10:30-12:00 ~ StudySync.  Parents and 6-8th grade students alike are encouraged to come to our
StudySync workshop!  We'll start with a Q&A session, then move on to some practical tips and hands-on lessons to help you make the most of this dynamic, interactive new program.
Topics:  Annotation and using the Library.
