Designing an Effective Reading Block
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the amount of content you have to cover? Do you ever feel like you don't have enough time to get to all your standards?  There is a way! By strategically designing your reading block, you can find time to fit in the skills needed for reading and writing success! During this workshop, participants will identify key skills that should be included in daily practice and how to find time in the reading block to allow students the time engage in those practice opportunities.  This workshop will also provide participants with a lesson design template that ensures instructional distribution across the ELA domains.  Participants in this workshop will walk away with the tools they need to structure their reading block in a way to support the most effective use of time.  Stress less! Teach more!
