ALSO, the following is not a text dump of resignation.

As of July 29th 2018 PSDLE has over 8500 Chrome extension users, 350 (and growing) Firefox extension users, and who knows the countless users for other methods! PSDLE turned 4 years old this month (don't go back and fix your answer) on the 3rd and over that time has come a long way visually, feature-wise, and even the community. I remember the "golden years" where there was the security stigma of PSDLE and, rightfully, tinfoil wearing commenters saying it must be malicious since it was javascript and ran on the store while you were logged in! I would like to think somehow the community and word of mouth cleared that stigma (and a certain forum moderator urging I get onto the Chrome webstore for authenticity)

Development shall continue for the foreseeable future, but it currently is very stale with seemingly not much left to do.

I'm not a part of the PlayStation ecosystem anymore (having switched to PC) so not only do I miss obvious changes, I don't see the value in them. I may one day return and PSDLE may benefit as a result but that time is not now. Back when it first released it was because I had a personal issue with the download list and nothing the community had at the time was convenient (check emails? hand-typed spreadsheets? no way!). That issue no longer plagues me as it once did, although the Steam library is a bit... SDLE when? I'd have to make a new logo.

The intent was also never to replicate the store, and won't be. The last time PSDLE broke was around October 2017 when the store switched its user-facing software to something newer and that was resolved within a week of research and back to relative staleness. Before that breakage, it was one time when a store function related to languages was renamed.

If I get really bored I might rewrite PSDLE horribly from scratch. Bugs are fun.

The original intent for this survey was for feedback on a redesign (something to break the staleness, introduce new bugs to fix, accidentally piss off the community by ruining old guides and screenshots), but I chose to get some more mileage out of it with extra sections.
