2016 Hour of Code @ Bayside High School
Hour of Code is the largest single internet event in the world with over 1 million participants over the course of a week.  Hour of Code is an one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code" and show that anyone can learn the basics to be a maker, a creator, an innovator.

Bayside High School is hosting various workshops from December 7 to December 8 to empower participants with the confidence that they too can code.

Time: 4pm to 5pm

1) Do I need to bring a laptop?

Computers will be provided.  

2) Is programming knowledge required?

No.  General experience on how to use a computer is the only knowledge required.

3) Can I sign up for multiple workshops?

Yes.  

4) Can parents participate with their child?

We highly encourage parents to be a part of all the fun.
