Engaging Students as Partners in Learning and Teaching: October 2, October 30, & November 13 *
CEL Scholar Ketevan Kupatadze and CEL Graduate Apprentice Sophia Abbot will facilitate a discussion about Engaging Students as Partners in Learning and Teaching by Alison Cook-Sather, Catherine Bovill, and Peter Felten. This reading group will meet on Tuesday, October 2nd, Tuesday, October 30th, and Tuesday, November 13th, 12:15 - 1:30 PM. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP. To receive a copy of the book, please RSVP by September 18th. The reading groups will take place in Lindner 206.
Living-Learning Communities that Work: November 15 & 29 *
Shannon Lundeen and Cara McFadden, seminar leaders for the Center's 2017-2019 research seminar on Residential Learning Communities will facilitate a discussion about Living-Learning Communities That Work: A Research-Based Model for Design, Delivery, and Assessment by Karen Kurotsuchi Inkelas, Jody E. Jessup-Anger, Mimi Benjamin, Matthew R. Wawrzynski. This reading group will meet on Thursday, November 15th, and Thursday, November 29th, 4:15-5:15 PM. Snacks will be provided. To receive a copy of the book, please RSVP by October 15th. The reading groups will take place in Lindner 206.
