JET Pre-Departure Orientation 2017                           Volunteer Registration
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the 2017 JET Programme Pre-Departure Orientation!  This is a wonderful opportunity to provide the next generation of JETs with their first insight into the joys and hardships of life in Japan.  

Pre-Departure Orientation will take place on June 24th & 25th in downtown Vancouver (BCIT and SFU Vancouver campuses, respectively).  For more information about the event and each position visit: https://goo.gl/Ap3arX

Volunteer positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Most volunteers are not required to attend the full day but feel free to sign up for multiple positions.

All JETAABC members are welcome to attend a meet-and-greet with the newbies, following Pre-Departure Orientation on June 24th.  Additionally, volunteers will be invited to the JETAABC Volunteer Appreciation Event, tentatively scheduled for September 2017.

If you have selected the "Living in Japan" and "Working in Japan" workshops, please confirm that you will attend the mandatory training session on June 8th at the Japanese Consulate in Vancouver.
Dinner will be provided.
A meet-and-greet reception for new JETs and JETAABC members will be held after Pre-Departure Orientation Day 1 (June 24th).  Are you interested in attending?
