Perspective on Peace Project
The Stages Perspectives of Peace Project occurred at Highlands for all 4th and 5th graders, 175 students in total. Stages was here for the week of May 12-18th. We culminated the project with two live programs, one for the whole school and one in the evening for the families and community.  The goals of this project were to have all students explore and gain a deeper understanding of what peace means and how to have an impact to make their life more peaceful. This is also a way for all Highlands 4th and 5th graders to capstone their elementary school journey with a project driving them toward a deeper understanding of themselves as passionate and empathetic lifelong learners.
