Drugs and Alcohol Awareness Training
On this training delegates will learn how to spot the signs of problems and support and educate people who have possible drug or alcohol issues. This is an interactive course that aims to increase the knowledge and confidence in staff whilst also acting as an update on drug trends including the use of ‘legal highs’/new psychoactive substances. The course will cover:

    Most common traditional illegal drugs: what they look like, their slang names, effects and risks
    New psychoactive substances and current trends
    Consequences of drinking too much including health and criminal justice issues
