Congratulations on your admission to Michigan State University!

We are excited to offer you a unique opportunity to participate in the 2019 Excel: Advancing Academic Excellence Program. This 3-week, residential program is designed to further develop the skills and discipline you will need, to help you transition to a more rigorous academic environment. The program will take place on the campus of Michigan State University from July 12 to August 2. During your participation in the program, Academic Specialists , Summer Staff members, and instructors will provide academic and pre-professional preparation, transition support, and cultural enrichment activities.

Thousands of students participating in TRIO SSS have received significant academic tutoring, mentoring, financial guidance, personal counseling, and assistance when applying for graduate school. These services provide support to students and encourage student success in the classroom. TRIO SSS is committed to being a source of guidance and support in each students’ quest for educational excellence.

Our program is made possible through grant funding from the U.S. Department of Education and support from The Office of the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education at Michigan State University.
