APA Assistant: 7th Edition Style
Thank you for choosing the APA Assistant!

This tool will help you cite information from a variety of sources, both in-text and in the list of references, including books, e-Books, articles, web pages, audiovisual sources, and more.  Just answer the questions to find the help you need!  Be sure to scroll down the page to see all your options and click the Next button after you make your selection.

If you want examples of where to look on your sources to find the information you need, such as publisher, date, or DOI, choose "I want help with a citation in my list of references."

If you need help with both your in-text citations AND your list of references, just choose the one you want to start with -- you'll be able to go back and get help with the other later. :)

You can also use this APA Flowchart to help you decide when you need to cite your sources, and quickly identify source type and examples.

Looking for MLA style? We can do that, too! Just go to https://libguides.weber.edu/mlaassistant/direct

And remember, if your instructor gives you different instructions, always go with what they say. After all, they're giving you the grade!  ;oD

I hope you find the APA Assistant helpful!
