Third Space is a co-working space with attached childcare in which parents can reserve a desk for working as well as simultaneous childcare for their young children (ages 1 month to pre-K). Parents will be able to choose from a variety of membership packages (such as full-time, 2-3 days a week or 10 half-days) which will fit the needs of any professional parent with the ability to work remotely. For example, full-time employees who are transitioning back to work after a parental leave could utilize a full-time membership in order to be near their new baby throughout the day yet continue to bring in income (imagine a world in which professional breastfeeding mothers no longer have to pump!) A freelancing parent may want to schedule half-days of work throughout the month as needed per their workload.
Third Space will be a licensed childcare facility with an environment that is family-friendly yet clean and professional. The open concept co-working space will be complete with office-like amenities such as stand/sit desks, wifi, printer/copier/scanner, conference rooms, kitchen access and plenty of coffee.
