Use the opportunity to improve your Latvian language skills by attending Intensive Latvian language one-week course this summer at Learning Centre Valodu kursi Tev!

The course is designed for beginners and people with limited prior knowledge of Latvian language (A0, A1), as well as for those who have elementary or threshold knowledge (A2, B1). This intense course is the best way to learn and improve language quickly and efficiently.

Each course lasts for a week and consists of 10 classes (4 academic hours a day) and will be held every day from July 16th to 20th – right after the Centennial Song and Dance Festival – in the centre of Riga.

Dates: July 16th–20th 2018*
Intensity: two 90 minutes classes or four academic hours (4x45 min.) per day
A0, A1 level (beginners): 9.00 am–12.15 pm
A2, B1 level (elementary, threshold): 1 pm–4.15 pm
Group classes: 4–8 students
Cost per 10 classes: 100 EUR, including VAT, per person
Venue: Valguma iela 10 next to the Latvian National Library (parking available)

Did you know that Latvian is one of the oldest languages in the world? They say it is as old as Sanskrit and therefore it has always particularly attracted linguists and translators. We have designed a course that will help you to discover Latvian language in a very interactive, engaging and efficient way, and you will be able to learn by doing.
You will:
• Learn to tell your story and talk about family, work, travels and hobbies.
• Find out more about Latvian culture, traditions and lifestyle.
• Improve your grammar skills.
• Network and talk about business in Latvian.
• Spend 3 hours a day in a full Language immersion with an inspiring teacher and motivated class-mates.

The class will be taught by Kristīne Ante - a professional Latvian language teacher with teaching experience at the best European Universities and Language Schools.
Kristīne is open-minded, positive and passionate teacher and believes that everyone is able to learn a new language if there is motivation and encouragement in the supportive and interesting environment.

Informācija par kursu latviešu valodā

Mācību centrs “Valodu kursi Tev” šovasar piedāvā intensīvos latviešu valodas kursus ar profesionālu un pieredzējušo lektoru. Mācības notiks katru dienu no 16. līdz 20. jūlijam divās grupās:
1) plkst. 09.00–12.15: A0/A1 grupa (iesācēji un dalībnieki ar minimālām priekšzināšanām);
2) plkst. 13.00–16.15: A2/B1 (dalībnieki ar elementārām vai pamata priekšzināšanām).
Kursā ir iekļautas 10 nodarbības (4 akadēmiskās stundas dienā). Cena par visu kursu: 100 EUR, ieskaitot mācību materiālus un PVN. Nodarbības notiks angļu un latviešu valodā.
