RMN Foundation school – which provides modern education free of charge to poor children – has started a ‘Learn to Earn‘ program to help students earn their livelihood.

The program comprises theory based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts and practicals to teach students how to make different products and sell them in the market.

The education in this program covers ERP modules such as purchase, manufacturing, quality assurance, public relations (PR), modern marketing, and sales.

In order to make products under this program, RMN Foundation has set up a small production unit in Dwarka, New Delhi.

The profit from the sale of these products will be shared between the students and RMN Foundation while making it a self-sustaining project. The initial investment is being made by RMN Foundation, which is offering its charity services without any external support.

The activities of RMN Foundation are being run single-handedly by RMN Foundation founder Rakesh Raman, who is a government’s National award-winning journalist.

Earlier, Rakesh was associated with the United Nations (UN) through United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a digital media expert to help businesses use technology for brand marketing and business development.

Important: RMN Foundation schools are primarily supposed to be free residential schools to provide the best possible education to poor children particularly from the “totally abandoned” or “economically weaker” sections of society. The current schools for school-going students and those who live with their families are only temporary schools.
