Review:
What is your definition of
a bad seed? It is someone who doesn’t listen, or talks during the movie? What
could make someone a bad seed?
In this story a little seed
was pointed at and talked about every where he went. The little seed was bad
because he stared, glared and finished everyone’s sentences. But, that wasn’t
all. He did remember a time when he wasn’t bad. This was a time when he was
with his family of seeds in a sunflower. Something had changed and the flower
petals drooped and the seeds went into a dark place. What do you think happened
to the little seed after that?
Author Jory John has
created a simple story with a simple message. Beginner readers will find this
story to be a quick and easy read. Basic illustrations depict the characters in
an expressive way. Parents and teachers can use this as a guide to teach
kindness and a better understanding of how we can all change.
