Suspicious fire, Dalby

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a school in Dalby overnight.

At around 12.30am emergency services were alerted to reports of flames coming from the front of the building on Cunningham Street.

No one was physically injured as a result of the fire however the school was extensively damaged.

Preliminary investigations indicate the fire was deliberately lit.

A crime scene has been established and the address was guarded overnight with investigators to return to the scene today to determine the cause of the blaze.
