3) Write your elevator pitch and an introduction email to share with professors that you want to work with as your thesis director. Practice your elevator pitch with a friend.

2) Send your introduction email to 3-4 professors this week. You should edit the introduction to make it specific to each professor.

• Finding faculty to work with is the key to your thesis! It is a normal part of the process to meet with multiple faculty members before finding your thesis director, and it is common to approach faculty that you may not know already. You want to come to your meetings with faculty members prepared and organized.

1) Complete your Week 4 online reflection journal.
