Taiwanese hacker Chang Chi-yuan has pledged to live stream an attempt to delete Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook page.

"Broadcasting the deletion of FB founder Zuck's account. Scheduled to go live" on Sunday at 6 p.m. in Taiwan or 6 a.m. on the East Coast, he wrote in a message to his 26,000-plus following on Facebook, according to a translation by Bloomberg.

Chang is a "minor celebrity" in Taiwan, Bloomberg says. During a recent TV appearance, for example, he discussed the breach of a bus operator in which he bought a bus ticket for 3 cents.

Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Its bug bounty program has awarded $6.3 million since 2011 and $880,000 in 2017. But it's not clear which bug(s) Chang will exploit to access Zuckerberg's personal Facebook page, nor how much Facebook would pay Chang, if anything, should he succeed.

As Bloomberg notes, Chang was among eight "special contributors" on messaging app Line's 2016 bug hunter hall of fame.

This isn't the first time a hacker has taken over Zuckerberg's Facebook page. In 2011, it was hacked with a call to turn the site into a "social business." But this time around, Chang's hack attempt comes as Facebook, which now has 1.47 billion daily active users, is facing increased pressure over privacy and the social network's impact on society.
