Itasca County LQA&E Training
Livestock Quality Assurance & Ethics: Minnesota 4-H supports livestock quality assurance and animal science ethics.

To exhibit 4-H livestock (beef, dairy, goats, llamas, poultry, rabbits, sheep, and swine) at our county fair and beyond, 4-H Livestock Ethics & Quality Assurance Training (LQA&E) is required to be taken your first year of participation and again at least once in every 3 years, prior to County Fair.  

Level 1 training: 4-H'ers grades 3-5, and first year exhibitors in higher grades.

Level 2 training: 4-H'ers grades 9-12+.  4-H'ers in grades 6-8 may elect to take either level based on their experience.  Certification is good for three fair seasons.
