I recently had the privilege of experiencing an incredible journey to recovery at Playa Physical Therapy, and I can't praise Aaron, my physical therapist, enough for his outstanding expertise and compassionate care. From the moment I stepped into the clinic seeking relief for my right shoulder pain, I knew I was in capable hands.

After just 14 sessions with Aaron, I am now completely pain-free and feel absolutely fantastic. It's truly remarkable how his skillful touch and therapeutic techniques have not only relieved my discomfort but also restored my range of motion. Aaron is undeniably a gifted therapist with an intuitive sense of touch that brings immense relief.

What sets Aaron apart, however, is not just his exceptional physical abilities but also his remarkable communication skills. Throughout my treatment, he consistently demonstrated a genuine interest in my progress. He asked insightful questions, listened attentively, and tailored my therapy sessions accordingly. Aaron's ability to keep abreast of my progress allowed him to prescribe exercises that were precisely tailored to my needs, accelerating my healing process.

I was particularly impressed by Aaron's ability to provide clear instructions on the exercises I needed to perform and what activities to avoid. And an added bonus was that since the therapy was prescribed by my physician, the treatment was completely covered by Medicare. The team at Playa Physical Therapy went above and beyond by handling all of the necessary paperwork, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.

I've been doing PT here for a few months now to resolve an issue I've had with left hip and knee for a few years.

I've been very pleased with the process of investigation/identification, flexibility and strengthening with Brandon. The sessions are thoughtful but efficient and I feel like a participant in my recovery instead of just a patient.

I am pleased to be back well on my way to not only a pain free day-to-day but also my fitness goals.

I have been to Playa Physical Therapy 3 times now for sudden weight bearing shoulder injuries which resulted in my having to stop my lap swimming workouts for several months each time. Aaron was able to rehabilitate my shoulder injuries using progressive strength and stretching techniques, and a swimming regimen that slowly got me back in the pool so that I would not overwork and re-injure my shoulders. Aaron's goal is to start back at your workout as soon as possible, but with expert coaching to tailor the workout length and level of exertion. Aaron has an expert knowledge of anatomy, and targets the injured muscle groups with individual tailored strength and stretching exercises. After working out for 20+ years, I have been to other physical therapists in years past, and had never had any success. Playa Physical Therapy is the only one that I actually felt improvement, and experienced confidence instilled by expert guidance.

Terry is getting my knee in shape in order to play softball and paddle Tennis. Nice facility, easy parking, clean.

My Dad has been a patient of Amanda at PPT since May of 2018 and we could not be happier with the service we have received there. From scheduling, to dealing with insurance issues, to the actual treatment, Playa Physical Therapy is everything we could have hoped for. My dad's physical health has improved drastically while working with Amanda. She has worked with him to improve his symptoms associated with Parkinson's and we have seen a major improvement. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for Physical Therapy.

Ah. My shoulder feels tense. My stiff neck. Must be all that time sitting in front of a computer. Driving. Hunched over. Wait. Let me look at myself in the mirror. Hmmm. My posture doesn't look so good. Hunched over. Old rotator cuff injury. New clicking scapula. I wish I could fix all this. Getting older now. Feelin' older now. Snap crackle and pop. Joints. Better take care of my body. Take some responsibility for my health.

So I call my insurance company and BooYah! It covers Physical Therapy. No PPO. Just regular health insurance. I make an appointment and meet with Dr. Aaron Willis.
Right away. He knows the target areas of pain and discomfort. After my first 1 hour treatment, my clicking and pain...feels a whole lot better! Co-pay just $15. So, I walk out of the beautiful and clean Playa Vista office and ask myself, "why didn't I look into this before?" Too busy? Assume my insurance does not cover? Just excuses.

I know that one session will not do it. It's not a miracle. It's gonna take some time and positive energy. So I have been seeing Dr. Willis or Aaron as he likes being called for about a month now. And after every session, I feel my tension and pain going away. Aaron patiently answers any questions, thoroughly explains any details of what he is doing, and offers advice on self healing exercises....stuff you can do at home to improve yourself. Aaron is busy so you have to book appointments ahead of time.

I think anybody and everybody should be getting some form of Physical Therapy. If you have an injury, you gotta fix it and don't just live with it. If you feel tired and stressed, you gotta move the body. I am glad I met up with Aaron. He is a great healer.

I dislocated my knee and have been going to physical therapy here with Amanda and she is amazing. She has such a wonderful bedside manner, is caring, attentive and so knowledgeable. I am in such great hands with her and am seeing great improvements in my knee. As for the actual place, it is small and quiet which I love because it creates a calm ambience that is therapeutic. You get one on one attention the whole time you are there! I really look forward to to my sessions here! Also I have never had a problem with parking twice I paled right in front of the door (for free) and the other time I parked right around the side in a lot also for free! In summary, nice facility, easy parking, wonderful therapist!

I just moved to the complex that Playa PT is in and wanted to schedule an appointment but I'm so disappointed that I won't be visiting. The person that answered was rude and unaccommodating. I called another PT down the street and scheduled my next few visits with them instead.
