The Rough Yet Tough Two

Though the journey can be rough! Without dough, But I am enough, And this babe is tough. Another year has come and gone, Yet she remains my only one, In the score, she’s still A1, Even after the sixth dawn. She is here, and so am I, Not apart, though we may try, In different parts, we each rely, Something you should learn by and by. The goal is one, the path we tread, Different steps, but hearts are led, Full sync is not quite there yet, But onward still, without regret. To another storey, we embark, Two becoming one, a lifelong spark, Happy New Us, to a brand new start!

To a beautiful soul

Her name is hers, Her journey is far, Her grit is alpha. It's a new day, The continuous counting, Of a time no one knows when it will eventually stop counting, But she is making hers count. To another counting, Of a beautiful soul, Though With unintentional fouls, but yet remain with her purest of soul. Guess what? she's definitely, Not a capitalist soul, With her investments in souls. Not trading her soul for dough, And still helping young ones find their meaningful goals. A criminal society wanted her corrupted, An attempt to distract her unleashed, But she is here,  Still committed to the cause. To a new day, To a beautiful soul that is reborn today, Because she is one of the beautiful ones here today. I love y😘💕💕💕😘

Our Battle, Not Theirs

As long as you continue to play the game set by your oppressor, you will lose. You are not determining the rules or the mode of the fight, and as a result, you are losing. This is exactly the position the oppressors want you in: constantly engaged in something you didn't initiate. Consider that you are always dealing with issues you didn't start. Even when you achieve small victories, the oppressors use these to their advantage in negotiations. They raise the stakes only to bring them down to the level they wanted all along. This tactic is evident in life as well, where oppressors distract us with issues that don't benefit us. The goal of the oppressors is to keep us engaged in their battles, making even our small wins ultimately losses. The strategy to survive in an oppressive system must be individualized, making escape a necessity rather than an option. The oppressors are fine with a few individuals escaping, as this creates the illusion of progress and achievement. Th

Sizwe Banzi is Dead

"Sizwe Banzi is Dead" - A play that exposed the apartheid system in South Africa. How people who were taught this in school, are not awakened is still a bother. Well, the banking educational system did the damage with partnerships from some of its cohorts also. In the book, Modern Africa Drama - Adefolaju Adeseke explained the plot of the drama "Apartheid policy which is the political system by which different races co-exist within the same nation but do not have equal political, social, and economic rights, (Oyetunde in Fugard et al: 1991) negates the fundamental human rights of black people. In apartheid South Africa, blacks did not have the right to participate in politics, good employment opportunities, and qualitative education. The blacks could not move freely in areas designated for the whites; they could not attend the same church with the whites let alone shopping in the same supermarket with them." My plea go back to the African written plays, and novels

Agba No Sense

'Agba ki n wa loja, ko ri omotutun wo' - An elder cannot be present without producing the much-needed order even in the most disorganized places.  The question is where are our elders(political, religious, economic, etc)?  And don't get it twisted, by the result we can see, we have only produced old people (void of wisdom - extremely daft people with numbers on their side), and our people understand elders not just as numbers, but with wisdom playing an essential part of being an elder. If you like just continue in the part of these charlatans to age, no go get sense... There is no respect for a wasteful past - maybe young stupid folks like them but not from me definitely.

Time Validates

Hey there. Let's set the alarm for a productive day ahead. Before diving in, let's acknowledge the date, which might vary depending on where you're tuning in from. Now, let's get to it. But first, a word on the political and economic landscape here in Nigeria. It's crucial to recognize that the political elite often prioritizes their own interests over those of the people. Trusting them blindly is akin to living in a cycle of déjà vu, where they justify their actions while contradicting the interests of the people. Remember the proposal some time back that all politicians should educate their kids within Nigeria? The dismissive response to that idea was telling. It's clear they prioritize their own convenience over the needs of the people. We mustn't be naive to think they have our best interests at heart. It's imperative for us, the citizens, to organize and protect our own interests. Unity among us is paramount, transcending divisions based on religion

I am first an African

I truly understand where you are coming from and we would have read their books and they would have taught us to include them in our actions while they can isolate us in their actions. Why would the oppressed be told to fight their liberation from a different point of the oppressors, probably because of the following: So who would create the colour for what purpose was it created? And at the mention/identification of colour then I am then told I have to look past colour though not wrong on the surface with deeper reasoning, one would begin to unravel the underline intention of creating that belief, that it is my responsibility to protect the human race while it is every other to protect theirs, leaving me in a state of helplessness and irresponsibility to take care of mine and ours. That right there is programming and witchcraft. I am first what they have used to divide me from the table. I would unite with my struggle. Whether that would be my last bus stop to that idea is left for me
