Travel to Spain. UREDERRA RIVER

The river Urederra, notable for its emerald-blue water, is located in northern Spain, in the province of Navarre, and attracts the landscapes of rare beauty. The river originates in the karst massif of Urbas at an altitude of 700 m above sea level.

In this place there is a 30-meter waterfall. Water, seeping through karst rocks, washes out various compounds, which give it a rich turquoise hue. It is no accident that Urederra is translated from Basque as "beautiful water". However, such an impressive path, alas, is not long: after 19 km the river flows into Egu, a tributary of the Ebro.

On its short journey Urederra forms many picturesque waterfalls and pools with crystal clear water, for contemplation of which along the river there are hiking trails. The beauty of the water is emphasized by the coastal forest vegetation, among which beech, elm, maple, yew, oak and almond trees prevail.
