For reasons that aren't entirely clear, American junior tennis player Taylor Johnson faced perhaps her most high-profile opponent.
No, not Venus Williams or Victoria Azarenka, she played against Kobe Bryant.
Yes, that's right.
While the details of their showdown on the court are scarce, they played at the Palisades Tennis Club of Newport Beach and Johnson referred to him as her "idol," on Instagram.

And it wasn't just her friends who were super jelly of the practice session, Coco Vandeweghe also seemed envious. Vandeweghe took to Twitter to invite Bryant to play with her if he's ever in San Diego.
