Burglary with violence, Tamborine Mountain

Police are investigating after a man and a woman were threatened with a machete and a motorcycle was stolen from a Tamborine Mountain property this afternoon.

Around 5.10pm two men entered the house on Beacon Road before demanding the occupants hand over cash.

The man and woman inside at the time refused their demands before the pair stole a blue 2014 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle (pictured) with Queensland registration 863LW and fled the scene.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his early 20s, about 180cm tall with a thin build.

The second man is described as being Asian in appearance, about 176cm tall with a skinny build and brown eyes.

Anyone who may have witnessed the motorcycle in the area yesterday afternoon or has any information which could assist investigators is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
