Every year Rise runs an adopt-a-child program for the holidays.  There are many struggling, low income families in our community that won't be able to celebrate the holidays without your help.  Rise works with other organizations and the community to get all the kids "adopted".  Each child makes a list of essential items needed, such as clothes, winter boots, winter coats, toys, games, blankets and store gift cards (also good for tweens and teens, who often like to choose their own gift).  Spending limit $30 per child.

Rise pairs generous sponsors with families in need providing a holiday they could not afford themselves.  The program allows you to fill specific wishes for a special family of 2 or up to 6 members.  Each family completes a wish list which can be faxed, emailed or picked up at the Rise office.  The wish list is designed to help the sponsor get to know the needs and desires of the family - minimum gift amount for a family of 2 is $75.
