Detectives are investigating after two people received stab wounds at Greenslopes overnight.
Emergency services were called to a Cornwall Street residence around 1.40am and located a 24-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to her abdomen. She was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where it is believed she is now in a serious but stable condition.
A 30-year-old man was also transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with a single stab wound in the leg. He also remains at the hospital in a stable condition.
The two people are known to each other and investigations are continuing however police do not believe anyone else was involved.
