Women Refugee Route Volunteer Training
Registration form Volunteer Training Lesvos, Greece (17-18 July 2017)
About Women Refugee Route
WRR aims to empower refugee women to become self-advocates while navigating their refugee journey,  by enhancing their access to information on their rights, health care, social services and safety.  We do this by training multilingual volunteers on how to best work and communicate with refugee women on the ground. We believe that many women could be better helped if they were able to connect with an interpreter of the same gender, who speaks their native language, and is specifically trained on the needs of refugee women.
About this training
This training is organised by Women Refugee Route (https://www.facebook.com/WRRoute/) in collaboration with Health Point Foundation (http://healthpointfoundation.org/). It is designed for volunteers who work with refugees and want to enhance their ability and capacity to support refugee women. The agenda is built by taking into account the participants needs and expectations gathered through the registration form.

This training is only accessible for volunteers who identify as women.

In principle, the training is completely free of charge. However, we developed a support scheme which enables you to help cover the participation costs of refugee women interested in joining the WRR Forum Week (the training, food and transport). You can either make a friendly donation (5 euros), cover one day of training (35 euros) or the whole participation cost of one refugee woman (75 euros). Please transfer the sum with mention of "Support Scheme Refugee Woman + (one of the three amounts above)" on the following account  [Account details WRR].

It will take place over two subsequent days (Monday 17 July 2017 & Tuesday 18 July 2017)
