I have alopecia and sensitive skin. I've tried a number of products and stopped the search when my mom gifted me a bar of Shea Moisture African Black soap. This is "my" head to toe product. It keeps my skin clear and healthy. Even though I don't wear makeup and am openly bald, I get compliments on my complexion, and when they ask what skin care products I use, I only have to mention this product, as it is "my" one and only.

As someone that has experienced acne/ skin issues my entire life, it took me finding this soap to calm my skin and give me the clear complexion I've been wanting my entire life. Will never use anything else!

The most amazing soap ever

I have psoriasis and this soap calms it down and my skin feels so clean after. The only negative is the black residue after a shower but I just rinse it off after I shower and it doesn't stick.

Great for my sensitive skin!

Since my family's members and myself have dry skin and very easy to have eczema, we have been chosen this bar soap as our regular wash. It helps with the itchiness after I'm done bathing. Smell is light but stay longer than I expected. It's not too expensive compared to others.

this is one of my favorite products that I've tried! it took me years to try this, which I regret, but I did lots of research and read many reviews which made me take the plunge. I've suffered from acne for a long time, and now being an adult, it's even more embarrassing. I tried this soap and I really liked it. it's helped my skin on both my face and back. it's soft enough for my sensitive skin, and it smells good too. the only downside to this soap is that it can be a bit drying. I would recommend using it maybe once a day at first, or maybe just a few days a week and working your way up. and definitely use a moisturizer afterwards! I have sensitive skin and was really happy to find such a well priced product for my acne. after trying many different brands and expensive items, this ended up being my go-to. I do switch between CeraVe and this for my face, but I will continue to use this for my body. I always make sure to have a bar in my closet. you can't beat the price for the size of this bar either. this 8 oz bar will last me for quite awhile, and both my husband and I use it. this was definitely one of my favorite finds!

worth the purchase!

Short and sweet review; I love this Black Soap. It's the only soap that I use now to bath and wash my face. I don't use the other soaps anymore.. This soap is better for you and your skin.. Thanks Walmart 👍🏿👍🏿

Black soap is better..

I almost didn't buy the bar after seeing one of the reviews showing a video or picture don't remember, but it showed a thick film of brown stuff around the drain, whoever posted that must have been super dirty cause I'm on my 2nd bar and never had that happen. Oh and each bar last a long time too.

Love these..

I will buy it again. It leaves my skin feeling soft after a shower instead of dry. The bar is actually quite large. Probably two regular bars, so that's good. That offsets some of the price. Infact, it'll probably last quite a while cuz you don't even have to rub much to get soaped.
