The importance of math cannot be emphasized enough -- it is vital to students studying a wide range of subjects, not just STEM related ones. It helps you think on your feet, teaches you to find innovative solutions to complex problems, and builds confidence along the way.

Math competitions are much more than a contest -- they develop a student beyond the normal course of school math. Training for competitions will improve logical and critical thinking, and increase independent problem solving ability, all valuable skills that will benefit students for life.

Parents are welcome to attend the introduction! Afterwards, real problem sets will be used for students to help them get to know what the competition is really like.


Three math talented high school sophomores, Tiger Che, Chris Zhang and Aditya Ramabadran, founded the Cupertino Math Circle! They are all AIME and/or USA(J)MO qualifiers before 10th grade. Their mission is to bring math competitions to our young neighborhood students.
