OH MY GOODNESS! Wow, this series is fantastic and I need more now. Michelle from Novels on the Run recommended this series and I grabbed it quick smart. They are a serial type read, so quick and addictive. The writing style of Lili Saint Germain is amazing and nonstop action to boot.

Juliette Portland hasn’t had an easy life. Growing up the daughter of the President of Gypsy Brother’s Motorcycle club is anything but glamorous. When she was fifteen and in love with Jason Ross, her whole life was turned upside down. Juliette’s father was accused of a crime he didn’t commit and in turn murdered; all while Juliette herself was beaten and abused with her innocence taken away by the Brothers.

My idea of Christmas reads tend to be a touch darker. I loved the Gypsy Brothers first time round, and fancied another look at Ms. St Germain’s dark and dirty MC series.

This may be short, but it isn’t sweet or fluffy. Dornan runs the Gypsy Brothers MC with a harsh and brutal hand.

This is the start of another series and MAN I hope it is finished by the time I get to the last one!

This was such a good read! I loved it right from the first sentence and I didn't feel any different by the time I read the last in this book!

Some chick (Juliette/ Sammi/ Samantha) has a really bad history that started at the age of 15 and now, six years later, she is exacting her revenge.

Her plan to get back into the motorcycle club that her father was originally president of, works better (worse) that she even planned. She is subjected to lots of dubious events (that made it all the more real/ believable, for me) but she manages to kill one of the seven brothers that she is out for.

This was the kind of dark read I really enjoy. Definitely going to read more from this author and this series!!!

This sure as Hell is a dark story - so dark I almost gave up on it at the beginning. Gang rape of a teenager girl , plastic surgery, abortion and a particularly sordid casting couch. Somehow, I stuck with it and decided that the end justified the darkness of the beginning.

I wish more detail had been used to describe the scenes toward the end, to match the sort of gruesome detail at the beginning. The climax felt a little anti-climactic, given how quickly it was handled. Given it's the first novella in a series, that may be covered in the next book in the series, but some of the missing details made it hard to suspend my disbelief.

The book jumps around in time, from flashbacks to present day. While I appreciate the insight it gives into Juliette, it was a bit jarring. As hers is the only perspective given throughout the book, those who don't like perspective shifts will certainly appreciate the continuity of her somewhat warped viewpoint.

Now, Juliette does have fair reason to be messed up, given her violent past, and I don't deny that she has a right to revenge - or at least retribution. I'm also curious to see how she does it, which is why I'll be reading the next book in the series.

I have stumble up on this book by accident looking for something with similar name. Boy was I happy I both this book by mistake. It was fast and gripping and interesting from the very first page. This is like Good Father bike gang version, revenge, love and sex. I read all sequel's and they all as good as is the first book. Can not wait for the last book that comes out at the and of the July 2014. You'll make mistake by not reading this books.

Kick ass characters and some full on story there.

An excellent tale of revenege with a brutal and horrific back story.

Well written and entirely engaging with some all out sick parts that will make you more than cringe.

Although the horror of the back story is sickening and the way that Julliette goes about gettingher revenge is entirely wrong, when the revenge comes its sweet and I cant wait to see who will be next!!!

All up a great story that needs to be put into a boxed set!!!! Characters are excellent and interesting. Action and sexy scenes are a plenty, and some horrific imagery that makes you want to exact revenge your self. I will most definately be continuing on with the series.

I love to read reviews from other people. So, when I saw that a certain reviewer that has similar taste as me had highly recommended this series, I was right on it...Thank you Kawehi Reviews!!

As soon as I read the synopsis of Seven Sons, I knew I had to read it. I've been becoming a fan of MC books lately and this one was like WOAH!!!

With her innocence stolen at the age of fifteen, skin branded, thought for dead and her father murdered, Juliette Portland sets out to seek revenge on the parties responsible.

"Today my name is Juliette Portland, but tomorrow I will wake up as someone else entirely. Someone who will bring Dornan Ross and the Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club to their knees."

At the age of 21, Juliette, now known as Sammi, is out for blood and out for revenge against the Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club who are responsible for her father's death and her loss of innocence.

Who the heck can blame her!!!

"I shed a tear because she is about to die, six years after she cheated death."

She goes under the knife to change her appearance and to remove the scars that once branded her.

Sammi now finds herself in a situation that in order to seek redemption and raise havoc upon Dornan Ross and his seven sons, she has to live in hell all over again.

Sammi wasn't prepared for the liking that Dornan Ross took with her. She went to him asking for a job and instead of a job, he want's her for himself. He puts her up in the clubhouse which is exactly want she wanted, but at what price? Is she willing to sleep with the enemy to seek out the ultimate revenge? Is she willing to live in hell to seek redemption?

What Sammi wasn't expecting was to come face to face with Jace, Dornan's youngest son...her friend and first love. Seeing him and being back in that strip club brings back memories of that horrific night where she was gang raped by his father and six brothers. Jace refused to participate that night before she blacked out so I'm assuming he did not rape her. Please god, I hope not!!!

"You remind me of a girl I used to know,” he says quietly, looking away."

Her plan is set in motion, she is now IN and has Dornan's complete attention. Carrying out her plan is not going to be easy and she knows it. Not only does she have to sleep with Dornan so she doesn't blow her cover, she comes face to face with her mother who sold her out years ago for drugs. No one recognizes her and they wouldn't because she is presumed dead and has had a complete total makeover with a body they can't resist.

Her plan is to take them out one by one. Nothing is holding her back. She is ready to strike and she is ready to strike now!!!

ONE DOWN. SIX TO GO.

This novella is by no means a romantic one...at least not at this point, being the first book in the series. It's down right raw and dirty. There is a hint of a potential romance between Sammi and Jace or possibly between Sammi and Elliott, who happens to be the cop who saved her life. And, I have to say I love them both!!!

"After the third time, he left. Because I was darkness, and he was sinking inside that darkness, and every time he tried to pull me out, I’d hold him under with me."

The first three years after her world was ripped apart, Elliott and Sammi became close...very close. He fell in love with her but her demons from the past put a strain on their relationship and he knew there was nothing he could do to help her so he left.

Three years later she is back and there is definitely chemistry there. I also feel the chemistry between her and Jase. I'm hoping for a Sammi/Jase HEA but I'm also loving me some Elliott. We'll just have to wait and see where Lili St. Geramin takes us. A journey I'm so ready to take.

Seven Sons is a RAW...DIRTY...SUSPENSEFUL read that will keep you on the edge of your seat craving more. If you are looking for romance, this is not the book for you...if you are looking for downright raw an gritty...then this is the book for you. I'm hoping the romance will come with the future novella's.

I have to say that I'm a sucker for romance. Bring me raw and grittiness with some hot romance and I'm totally on board. I read this novella so fast...Now I'm ready for more.

So, bring on Six Brothers and thank goodness it's already out. I'm stoked to get started with the 2nd book in this series!!! Yikes ;)

Went looking to see when the next one was coming out as I just can't wait to read it. No matter what I am in the middle of on release date, I will be putting it down to read the next chapter in this series. I can't wait to see where Julz will go from here. Der Autorin Lili Saint Germain ist es sehr gut gelungen, die Gefühlslage der taffen 21jährigen Hauptprotagonistin wiederzugeben. Nach und nach wird der Leser mehr in die Vergangenheit von Julz bzw. Sammy eingeführt über sogenannte Flashbacks.

Sehr spannend und an Dramatik nicht zu übertreffen, jedoch auch gepaart mit tief verborgenen Gefühlen wie Zuneigung, Liebe und Freundschaft.

Das Buch ruft beim Leser unterschiedliche Facetten an Gefühlen vor: von Entsetzen, Tränen, Wut bis hin zu Hoffnung, Rache u.v.m. Dabei verarbeitet die Autorin Themen wie Mord, Vergewaltigung, Drogen und Intrigen in ihrem Werk.

Seven Sons ist das erste von insgesamt 7 Teilen rund um die Gypsy Brothers … oder besser gesagt der erste Teil der 7teiligen Rache von Julz/Sammy.

Zusammenfassend ist zu sagen, dass Seven Sons seit sehr langer Zeit wieder mal ein englisches Buch war, das ich gelesen habe. Emotional hat mich die Autorin komplett eingebunden und durch ihren angenehmen Schreibstil, aber auch durch den interessanten Plot hatte ich dieses Werk im Nu ohne Probleme gelesen.

I am not usually a fan of novellas, as they usually rush through dialogue without giving a thought to structure or character development. I am happy to say that 'SEVEN SONS' succeeds in all areas! With its highly charged pacing, the story is layered in a way that is complex, shocking, and it leaves you excited for more to come.

This is a gripping and brutal story of a woman who changes her identity and physical appearance, so that she can carry out her plan of revenge against those who cruelly stole her innocence many years ago.

I will state the obvious: Avoid reading if you are under 18 or easily offended by dark and taboo subject matters. However, the writing is excellent, concise, and the sexual elements are written with a purpose. This is not your average Chick-lit tale - this is a heavy and emotional read.

Our sympathies lie strongly with the main character (who changes her birth name, Juliette, to Samantha) and she is a heroine in her own right. She is brave, passionate and refuses to back down from what she knows must be done. We are in her head at all times, seeing things from her point of view and appropriately switching between past and present as she recalls the devastating memories of her gang rape by the shameful Ross family.

The novella excels at covering a wide spectrum of plot points for characters who will likely be focused on much more in the further instalments of this series. Two standout characters are Elliot and Jason, who are in many ways the two love interests of Samantha and I am strongly anticipating how her relationships with them will develop in book two. (I am personally hoping that there is much more to come in her budding romance with Jason, as they seemed to connect - or re-connect, if you count their past together - very well.)

As for Dornan Ross - well, the less said about him, the better. Just know that he's the main antagonist of the story and is a complex character who, strangely enough, tries to build a connection with the woman whose life was torn apart by him.

Amazon states that the sequel to this novel, entitled 'SIX BROTHERS', will be available from 16th February (next week). I honestly can't wait.

I have happily rated 'SEVEN SONS' five stars. It is a fantastic and thought-provoking introduction to the dangerous life of Juliette/Samantha. I hope the next instalments can live up to (and even surpass) its brilliance. :)
