An 18ct gold emerald and diamond cluster ring.

Description

Condition Report

An 18ct gold emerald and diamond cluster ring. The cut-corner rectangular-shape emerald, with brilliant-cut diamond surround. Estimated dimensions of emerald 5.6 by 5 by 3.6mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts, H-I colour, SI clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1966, partially indistinct. Ring size J1/2. Weight 4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band resized, partially obliterating the hallmarks.
  • Slight wear to the band and some of the gallery.
  • Personal engraving to inside of the band, '4.6.68'.
  • Diamonds bright and well matched with scattered small light inclusions.
  • Emerald is a medium slightly bluish green hue with few inclusions.
  • Small nicks and minor abrasion.
  • Length of ring head 1.2cms.
