MAINE (WGME) -- The first wide-spread snow flurries of the season arrived early Thursday morning.

The flurries could be seen from Rangeley to Portland.

While the flurries have now passed, the big story Thursday will be the wind and the wind chill.

Gusts will reach up to 40 miles per hour, meaning there is a possibility of power outages for the second time this week.

You can watch Amanda Jellig's full forecast here.

Wind chills Thursday morning making it feel like the 20s.
