The annual Year 5, 6 & 7 swimming clinic will be held at the Indoor Sports Centre at Brisbane Grammar School during the week of Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 January 2019.
The clinic is open to all boys who are in Year 5, 6 & 7 at BGS in 2019.
The intensive swimming week is an excellent opportunity for boys who are interested in trying out for the Junior GPS Swimming Team and kick starting their preparations. It also gives any new boys coming into the BGS community, a chance to familiarize themselves with the school and some of the staff and students.

The sessions will run from 6:30am to 8:30am on each of these mornings.
On Tuesday 22 January - Boys will need to wear PE Uniform or equivalent to the pool, for 60mins of dry-land activities
The sessions will involve stroke technique work in the pool, dry land training and race practice.
Breakfast will be provided for all the swimmers at 8.00am each morning (volunteer parents required).
This is a good opportunity for any parents wishing to meet the coaches and to see the facilities at the Indoor Sports Center.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO THOSE ATTENDING THE BGS CRICKET CAMP
Director of Cricket, Mr. Trevor Irvine is aware there may be a slight cross over for boys wanting to attend both the BGS Swimming & Cricket camps. Provisions have been made for those boys needing to leave early from the Swimming clinic and/or arriving late to the Cricket camp
