Big Big Love
Walking by a lake today I passed several couples, two seemed happy and two couples seemed disconnected. It made me think about things I will not put up on here. I realized that I had been "dumpster diving", if you do not set your standards high enough you really can't complain ad nauseam about the bottom feeders that bubble up. There is a real disconnect it would seem in America between the genders and how to treat a woman.

It would seem Chivalry is more than dead, it is a Zombie of emotionally stunted people who lash out at everything but themselves or unchecked egos due to having basically no standards.
This Ends Now. The two happy couples were a bit "Old Fashioned" and it was nice to see. There was a degree of sweetness and respect and not a power play, quite the opposite. The other couples were a different story , one man was blathering on how awesome he was and probably in all realistic scenarios has no credit and is spin doctoring the woman who looked less than amused by his "Game". What are Your thoughts on the romantic scene? Is it good to be able to swipe through people online or is it another facet of a seemingly increasingly disposable society?

I think the reason a lot of couples don't seem interested in each other anymore is that they've lost respect for each other, and when that happens so goes your happiness.
It's a new age where love is dispensable, short-term and unreliable.... I blame DISNEY and the false bullshit we were drummed about unrealistic ideals in an future partner.
I'm old fashioned. I write mostly love songs. Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic...or just hopeless. Haha. Upvoted.
Traditionalism is the new radical. Welcome to the age of being chastised for being anything other than exactly what someone wants, when they want it, and never failing to deliver exactly that. Oh and please learn how to dispose of yourself when your not being used for sex/attention. That goes for both genders... :P
Best thing is to meet people i guess. hehe. The problem is that people don't socialise without drinking now adays.
