Paula's Choice Resist Omega+ Complex Serum Review

I'm passionate about skincare. I believe in using only quality ingredients that will actually show and give benefits to your skin. I don't believe in paying or overpaying for anything unless empirical backing exist. Regardless of the dollar amount attached to it (and trust me you can find it upwards towards in hundreds to thousands) nothing hurts your skincare routine more than bad products sold in pretty packages. I don't take an estheticians word for it either unless he or she can prove it to me with real medical journals articles or studies showing that product/ingredients are safe.

One of the biggest resources I have found in my life to be of pure value when it comes to skincare has been Paula's Choice (PC). Paula's Choice website has a beautypedia link which helps you understand ingredients, their efficacy and safety level plus if the product you are buying; are you really get what it claims or are you just throwing money? I have been using Paula's Choice products for over 4 years now and I have to say my skin has never looked better!

Paula recently came out with a brand new product called Resist Omega+ Complex Serum. This serum contains Omega 3, 6, & 9 oils which are ceramides and hydrating ingredients which are skin-identical. This serum helps to hydrate skin, lift a dull looking complexion, plus make the look of fine lines and wrinkles look visibly smooth.

I was one of the first people to try it before it came out steadily on the market. I bought a full size in order to add it to my skincare routine. My typical skincare routine consist of cleanser, toner, BHA, essence, vitamin C, two serums, moisturizer and sunscreen for the day. Same goes for the night. The only difference is, I use AHA at night and my serums change from the day time ones due to their heaviness. I prefer heavier serums at night so when I sleep they sink in better. This Omega complex serum can be used during the day or night, but I prefer day time use. It comes in a pump type bottle that dispenses one small pump into your hand. You can use two pumps, but I find one pump is all I need to cover my face. It appears in a white silky light weight cream form. It applies easily and disappears quickly into the skin. As usual, like all PC products, it has no fragrance, alcohol or any ingredient that would send your skin screaming into the wild.

I start using this product in March during the day. Its been now two months and I have to say I am pretty pleased with it. I recently suffered a second degree burn to my face. After the skin healed, I found that the cortisone creams that I was prescribed to treat the burns, really did a number on my face in those areas. My skin was uber dry, flaky, scaly and just gross. No matter what I did, the skin would not hydrate. Now, I know after a burn your skin can take time to heal. However after the skin had regrown and repaired itself, I didn't expect the cortisone creams to dry it out that bad. Nonetheless, I started applying this to the dry areas and it literally made a difference in a matter of days! I was shocked with just how well the skin started to lose it dryness and go back to looking normal with the rest of my face. Luckily, I was left with no burn scars and just dryness here and there. However this serum really helped with that issue so much so that I already bought another bottle as a backup for when this one runs out! I have to say, I really do love just about everything Paula's Choice makes!
