Sounds interesting, but in its current form you rule out most of the pro tuners.

Just to clarify, the WTB will not be going anywhere. It's staying as it is, but will take up the first 6 months of the year, while this new tournament runs in the latter part of the year.

The WTB will be more the way it used to be after this year, with public voting and small (if any) prize money and themes/bases that promote more creativity rather than a strict set of guidelines.

Thought I'd just say that as I think some of you may have misinterpreted this competition as "replacing" the WTB, which it isn't.

I see what you mean here. Perhaps we could change the competition to "Pro and Below" rather than "Below Pro". The problem I see with this is that with the mass demotion there are far more skilled artists in Pro Tuner than before meaning there would be less of a chance for newbies to shine. Will see what happens though... we may have to increase the size of the All Stars entries if we get more than 40 Pro + entrants.

Hahaha.Klaws You are genius, would You marry me? :mrteeth:
why not a championship for each division? inter, pro and advanced? with inter and pro working on the same bases and advanced getting the ones to stretch themselves over

There could be an issue with people signing up to these 40 places and then not entering perhaps?
I'd be interested, but I'd feel bad if I had to drop out, although I do now have plenty of free time from july - december.. it's just january - june time that my schedule is busy.
So if I could "pre register mah interest" that would be cool...

Sounds like a plan though. I like the idea of a new and different challenge, and helps keep the forum evolving and moving forward. Nice one Klaus. And thanks for the generous contributions to the prize fund already :D

Sounds very intresting to me, too.
I hope, I get some time to take part in the competition.
The truth is that this year rules was annoying. Autemo have lost a lot of good choppers by eliminating so many competitors so soon. A lot of eliminated teams it could surprise a lot of people with the next round by last years. This one was too tight.
Team chopping its great , as intermediate ive learned some "moves" this year with the WTB.

The new idea its also a great job who should be started. I like the separation of skills too. And i know its crazy , but , the winners of both competitions will challenge up too ? :/

I don't like the idea of new and inter against pro. It's something I don't think is fair. Yes, I know it might be a good challenge- but with some of the work that they produce, it just wouldn't be a fair fight.

But I like the idea of a feature on the facebook page. I still do not know why you don't feature some form from new-inter on there...
