Vox VX50BA Bass Guitar Amp

The brand new, lightweight VX series of amplifiers from VOX have got us all excited here at PMT, with the VX50 BA being my own personal favourite - this excellent, 50 Watt, NuTube powered bass amplifier makes for the perfect travel companion for the bassist on the move!

Small, Powerful and Aesthetically Pleasing

Not only does the VOX VX50 BA provide you with a loud and clear tube sound, but your tone can be further shaped by the on-board 4-band EQ, squeezed with the built-in compressor, or dirtied to your heart's content with the in-built distortion circuit providing settings ranging from subtle grit to high-gain overdrive.

Additionally you get an AUX In jack socket, Headphone socket, and a Direct Out jack socket to connect you up to PA Systems/Mixing desks. Not only that, but just look at it: it looks as edgy, moody and mean as you could want a bass amp to look, whilst still retaining that air of VOX class.

Lightweight yet Powerful

Despite the high 50 Watt output power, the VX50 BA weighs in at only 4.5kg, meaning that despite the tube technology contained within, the amp is easily transportable between performances.

Built-In EQ and Effects

The VX50BA is fully equipped with a powerful 4-band EQ covering BASS, LO MID, HI MID, and TREBLE frequencies, allowing you to sculpt your tone exactly the way you want to.

Additionally the VX50BA has a built in compressor circuit that you can activate/deactivate at the push of a button, and a powerful DRIVE circuit that offers you a punchy overdrive sound ranging from mild grit up to full-on saturation.
