*આપણી ભાષામાં વપરાતા ગ્રામ્ય રહેણી કેણીના ખાસ શબ્દો જેમાના કેટલાક નવી

પેઢીને જાણમા પણ નહી હોય...જેવા કે...

૧.● દોરી - કપડાં સૂકવવા કે કઈ બાંધવા માટે

૨.●વળગણી-કપડા સુકવવા બાંધેલી દોરી કે લાકડા ની વળી ને વળગણી કહેતા

૩.● જાળી - ભમરડો ફેરવવા માટે

૪.● રાશ - બળદને કન્ટ્રોલ કરવાની લગામ

૫.●અછોડો:-રાશથી નાનોને ઢોરને ખીલે બાધવા વપરાતો દોરડાનો ટુકડો

૬.● વરત - પાણી કાઢવાના કોસ માટે વપરાતું જાડુ દોરડું

૭.● વરતડી - પાણી કાઢવાના કોસ માટે વપરાતું પાતળું દોરડું

૮.●વરેડુ-ગાડામા પુળા કે ઘાસ ભર્યા પછી તેને ગાડાની આકડીઓ સાથે બાધવાનુ મોટુ દોરડુ

૯.● નાથ - બળદના નાકમાં પરોવી તેને કન્ટ્રોલ કરવા વપરાતી દોરી

૧૦.●છીકલુ:-દોરીની ગુથેલી જાળી જે બળદને પહેરાવાતી હતી જેથી ચાલુ કામે ખાઈ ન શકે

૧૧.● રાંઢવુ - જુદા જુદા કામ માટે વપરાતી જાડી મજબુત જાડી દોરી

૧૨.● નાડી - ચોરણી કે પાયજામાંં કમરે બાંધવાની પાતળી દોરી

૧૩.● નોંજણું - ગાયને દોહતી વખતે પાછળના બે પગ અને પુંછડાને સાથે બાંધી ગાયની હલચલ ને રોકવા માટે વપરાતી દોરી.

૧૪.● ડામણ - ઘોડા કે ગધેડાને છુટ્ટા ચરવા છોડવામાં આવે ત્યારે તેના એક આગળનો પગ અને એક પાછળના પગને સાથે દોરીથી બાંધવામાં આવે છે જેથી તે બહુ ઝડપથી દોડી શકે નહિ અને તરત જ પકડાઈ જાય. આ દોરીને ડામણ કહે છે.

૧૫.●ડેરો:-ભેસને બે પગ વચ્ચે રહે તે બંધાતુ લાકડુ જેથી તે દોડી ન શકે.

૧૬.● જોતર - બળદને ગાડા સાથે જોડવામાં વપરાતી દોરીનું સાધન

૧૭.● નેતર - છાશ કરવા માટે વલોણાને ફેરવવા વપરાતી દોરી

૧૮.●નેણ:-ગાડા સાથે ઘુસરી બાધવા માટેની ચામડાનુ દોરડુ...

૧૯.● આ ઉપરાંત દોરીના મટિરિયલને લીધે જુદા નામો છે દા. ત.

૨૦.● શીંદરી- કાપડની ચીદડીમાંથી બનાવેલી દોરી.

૨૧.● સૂતળી - શણમાં થી બનાવેલી દોરી

૨૨.● વાણ- જંગલી વેલા વિગરે વનસ્પતિમાંથી બનાવેલી દોરી

૨૩.● કાથી - નાળિયેરના છોતરામાંથી બનાવેલી દોરી

...તે જ રીતે કપડાના જુદા જુદા આકારના જુદા જુદા કામ માટે વપરાતા ટુકડાના જુદા જુદા નામ છે. જેમ કે,

૨૪.● ચાકળો- સુતરાઉ કાપડનો ચોરસ ટુકડો, જેમાં ભાત કરી દીવાલ પર ટીંગાડી શકાય.

૨૫.● પછેડી- માથે બાંધવા અથવા ખભા પર રાખવા વપરાતો કાપડનો ટુકડો.

૨૬.●ફાટ-કાલા કે ખેતીની પેદાશ છોડ પરથી વીણી કમરે બાધેલા કપડામા ભેગી થાય તે

૨૭.● ચોફાળ -(ચલાકો) પછેડી કરતા મોટા કાપડનો ટુકડો જે ખાસ કરીને ગાંસડી બાંધવા વપરાય છે.

૨૮.● બુંગણ - ચોફાળ કરતા પણ મોટો જાડા કાપડનો ભાગ જે જુદા જુદા ખેતીના કામ માટે વપરાય છે.

૨૯.● ફાળિયું- માથે બાંધવા માટે પાતળો કાપડનો ટુકડો

૩૦.● પનિયું- કમરે બાંધવાનું કાપડ

૩૧.● ગુમછો- આછું,પાતળુ લાલ કાપડ

૩૨.● ઓછાડ- ગાદલાને કવર કરવા વપરાતું કાપડ.

૩૩.● કામળી- ઉનનું વસ્ત્ર જે ખભા પર રાખવામાં તથા ઓઢવામાં વપરાય છે.

૩૪.● મસોતું- રસોડામાં વપરાતું હાથ લુંછવા માટે તથા વાસણ લુસવા માટે વપરાતો કાપડનો ટુકડો.

૩૫.● પંચિયું- શરીર લુચવા માટે અને કમર નીચે બાંધવા માટે વપરાતો કાપડનો ટુકડો.

૩૬.● અબોટિયું - પૂજા અથવા અન્ય ર્ધાિમક વિધિ કરતી વખતે પહેરવામાં આવતું ધોતી જેવું કાપડ.

૨૬.● વળી - મોભ અને દિવાલ પર રાખેલ પાતળું લાકડું જેના પર નળીયા ગોઠવી શકાય.

૨૭.● સાલ - ખાટલામાં ઈસ કે ઉપળાંને બંને છેડે અણી કાઢી તેને પાયામાં બંધ બેસતા કરવામાં આવે છે આવા લાકડાને સાલ કહે છે.

૨૮.● વિંધ - સાલ જેમાં નાખવામાં આવે છે તે કાણાવાળા પોલાણને વિંધ કહે છે.

૨૯.● પાયો - ખાટલાના ઉભા લાકડા જે વિંધમાં સાલ બેસે તે લાકડાના ભાગને પાયા કહે છે

૩૦.● ઢોલિયો - મજબુત અને મોટા અને શણગારેલા ખાટલાને ઢોલિયો કહે છે.

૩૧.●ઢોલડી-નાના ખાટલાને ઢોલડી કહે છે.

૩૨.● નીક - ખેતરમાં પાણી લઇ જવા બનાવેલ વ્યવસ્થા ને નીક કહે છે.

૩૩.● ધોરિયો - મોટી નીક ને ધોરિયો કહે છે.

૩૪.●ઉદરિયુ-રેતાળ જમીનમા પિયત વેળા ઉદરના દર વડે પાણી બીજે ફુટે તે

૩૫.● છીંડું - વાડમાં બાકોરું હોય તો તેને છીંડું કહે છે.

૩૬.●ગાડાવાટ:-પાછળ આવેલા ખેતરમા ગાડુ લયી જવા ખુલ્લી મુકાતી જગ્યા

૩૭.● ખળું - અનાજના ડુંડાને સુકવી તેને પીસીને દાણા છુટા પાડવા માટે વપરાતી જગ્યા

૪૪.●માણુ:-લાકડાની ઉપરથી ગોળને નીચેથી સપાટ તેમા ત્રણ ચાર કાણા સોસરવા

હોય છે જેમા પોલા વાસના દંડા લગાડી વાવણીયાના દાતાના કાણામા પરોવી દઈ બી

ઓળવી વાવણી.થાય તે....

પ્રસંગે ગાડા પર બંધાતી તેથી ઢાળ ન પડે

બહાર ન નીકળી જાય તે માટે

૫૫.●સાલા(હાલા):પૂળાને મોટા જત્થામા ચોમાસામા પલળે નહી તેવી રીતની મોટી

ઓઘલી જેવી પધ્ધતિ જેમા જેવાકે ધઉનુ

પરાર,મગફળીની પાદડી સંગ્રહવામા આવે તે...આના ખાસ બનાવનાર હતા.
