The DSC Iotega WS9009LVZA is the next generation, all-in-one smart security and home automation platform for residential and small commercial properties. It provides DIYer's with the DSC security they already know and trust, along with the freedom to add smart home devices, that are compatible with Alarm.com and Apple HomeKit. With Iotega, our do-it-yourselfer's can start with a security-only package, and then scale up at anytime to a full security and home automation solution.

Plus, the Iotega will also save you time and money, with installations made simple using the latest innovations in wireless networking technology. Having built-in PowerG technology, the DSC Iotega is a fully encrypted panel that takes smart homes and businesses to a new level of security, while reducing operational costs. It provides superior reliability with end-to-end 128-bit AES encryption and includes multiple advanced security features, such as a proximity sensor, built-in siren, 2-way voice, and 99 user codes. Choose each member's level of engagement and control, from local notifications and keypad activation, to full remote control.

DSC PowerG has set its focus on reliability, performance, privacy, vulnerability, usability and maintenance. With multi-channel Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology, which overcomes frequency blocking and interference, TDMA synchronized communication for preventing messaging collisions, and high transmission ranges, PowerG enables reliable communication up to 1.24 mi/2 km line-of sight. By using adaptive transmission power, this preserves battery life which extends the life of the battery operated wireless sensors. The PowerG sensors are simple to maintain, as the wireless sensors batteries easy to replace, reducing onsite expensive service calls.

The DSC Iotega is compatible with Alarm.com for best-in-class home control and monitoring services, and it supports DIYers' favorite connected home devices, including Z-Wave Plus standard lights, thermostats, power sockets, door locks, and more. Users can choose the level of engagement and control what they desire, ranging from local notifications and keypad activation, to full remote control via cloud-based intelligence and mobile apps. All intelligent actions can be implemented according to user defined triggers and customized schedules or simply on-demand. Expansion of your DSC Iotega panel can be done at anytime, with over 200 security and smart home automation devices that can be added.

To meet DIYers' needs for flexible communication methods, the Iotega offers multiple back-up communication paths that ensure high-speed, reliable and secure alarm communications. The Iotega comes equipped with a built-in WiFi and cellular alarm communicator that utilizes the Verizon LTE network to transmit alarm signals to the GeoArm central monitoring station. These redundant dual-path communications, allow for advanced services, such as visual alarm verification, that boost security and convenience for home and business owners.
