Event Quest - Change The Record
Since their own "Web of Fate" seems to be working out, Miles, Peter, and Gwen invite other Spider-People to join The Contest. SPIDER-PUNK eagerly agrees however, he does not travel to The Battlerealm alone. Another Hobie Brown, this one calling themselves PROWLER, is ripped into this universe along with him. Is The Contest ready for a double dose of Hobie? Or will this concert of Spiders turn into a multiversal mosh-pit? Find out in CHANGE THE RECORD.

Act 8 Chapter 4
With the defeat of Cerastes, Carina and company uncover the full breadth of Ouroboros's devious plot - inciting a Battlerealm-wide war! With this new information the heroes race back to Carina's Council in the hopes of stopping Ouroboros and Glykhan once and for all. But is there light at the end of this tunnel of terrors? Or is this a flame which will consume The Contest? Find out in Act 8 - Chapter 4: DARKEST DAWN.

Winter of Woe
The culmination of your pain and WOE will occur this month, where you will be tasked with dealing with all 4 of the previous fights plus 2 NEW FIGHTS in not one but two painful paths! Fret not though, as you will have the entire month to deal with this heroic task. Be warned however, that these encounters are not for the faint of heart, and will cause you to be overcome with WOE. To further increase the trials set before you, this month-long quest will feature not 2, not 3, but 4 Solo Objectives for you to try to overcome!


NEW CHAMPIONS

King Groot (Deathless)
In years past, Champions from the Death Realm staged an assault on The Battlerealm. Empowered by the Death Stone, Thanos created Nameless, empty versions of the heroes of the Battlerealm. Of these Nameless Champions, a select few were granted malicious will and elevated to become the Deathless, to lead his armies and sow chaos and destruction. King Groot was the second Deathless he created. Rising from the undergrowth of a barren alien forest, the Deathless master of ash conquers all!


NEW FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS

Mastery Loadout Pages
You can now save out multiple Mastery setups and easily swap between them! Set up to three different Mastery Loadouts, and switch between them whenever you would like for a flat 35 Unit cost.

Alliance War Defense Default
Select one of your Mastery Loadout Pages as your Alliance War Defense Default, and it will use that Mastery setup instead of your currently active one when placing your Alliance War Defenders. The Alliance War Defense Default selection has no cost. This will launch later in the month after the current Alliance War Season has ended.

Alliance War Updates
Updates to the Alliance War Persistent Placement Phase are coming! These improvements address friction points for Alliances that typically run less than three Battlegroups. Alliance leadership can now opt in or out of auto-clearing Defense placements for specified Battlegroups at the end of a War or remove individual placements from Battlegroups instead of relying on members to remove themselves. Alliance leadership is also now able to toggle between automatic or manual placement for Defense on Maps above/below your current difficulty.

Saga Champion Badging
To make Saga Champions easily identifiable, we are also introducing Saga Champion Badging! Each Champion in the Saga pool will have a Saga badge applied to their portrait throughout the Contest. These badges will follow the theme of the active Saga, making it easy to identify which champions benefit from the Saga.
