Don't blink, or else you might miss a video that allegedly shows 5-seconds of the Samsung Galaxy S8. If legit, we can say that the flagship handset does have a sleek and sexy look. The back shows the fingerprint scanner to the right of the rear camera where it has appeared on other leaks, including those disseminated by reliable tipsters. With the apparent removal of the home button, Samsung had limited choices. It could have embedded the scanner under the display, or moved it to the back. The manufacturer seems to have gone with the latter. You can view the clip by clicking on the video at the top of this story.

In addition, it appears that both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ have been benchmarked by Geekbench. The SM-G950U is the Galaxy S8 and Geekbench shows that the device was tested with Android 7.0 installed. That will probably be changed to Android 7.1 when the unit is launched next month. The Snapdragon 835 chipset was under the hood during the testing, with the octa-core GPU running at a clock speed of 1.9GHz. 4GB of RAM was on board. The device scored 1916 on the single-core test, and 6011 on the multi-core run through.

The SM-G955U is the Samsung Galaxy S8+. The only differences between it and the Galaxy S8 are believed to be a larger 6.2-inch display (compared to the 5.8-inch screen on the Galaxy S8) and a larger battery capacity (3500mAh vs. 3000mAh). That is no surprise since more power is needed to power the bigger screen. With all that in mind, the specs that were posted by Geekbench for the Galaxy S8 were identical to what was posted for the Galaxy S8+ And the latter's single-core and multi-core scores of 1929 and 6084 respectively, were no more than 1.2% apart from the results tallied by the Galaxy S8.

As we get closer to the March 29th unveiling of both models, we should see an exponential rise in leaks. Our advice is to check in with us often. We'll even leave the lights on for you.
