Learn how to easily create a monochromatic image from any color file. See how to change multiple colors in a design using a simple drop down method of isolating the color you want to adjust. Learn how to use Photoshop selection tools for isolating parts of an image you want to adjust, and then finally, learn a simple technique to draw attention to specific areas of an image that you want to feature by eliminating all the color in the image except for those areas.
All of these techniques are easy to do, easy to remember, and easy to master; you’ll find yourself using them all the time in your day-to-day work.

In this video mini course, I’ll show you how to take full-color, raster images, such as illustrations or photographs, and optimize them to make them as clean and sharp as possible, whether you created the art or it was customer-provided. I’ll share my go-to techniques for making images look their best, giving you the best files for production.
You’ll learn how to take a dead, lifeless image and add some punch to it. I’ll show you how to remove "gray matter" in an image, punch the saturation, set a black and white point in the image and finally sharpen it without harming any color pixels.
You'll learn how to fix too dark or in-shadow images. I’ll show you how to reveal hidden detail in those shadow areas to see much more of the image than you thought was there.
You’ll learn how to fix too light or washed out images, as well as how to fix the color cast in an image with just click of a button.
Find out how to reduce noise in an image using Photoshop's Reduce Noise filter as well as another third-party filter I use and highly recommend.
When you’ve completed an illustration or taken a picture, you may think your image is ready to go. However, by using the techniques presented in this mini course, you’ll find that you can take your images even further and make them that much cleaner, sharper, and more vibrant, resulting in a better-quality reproduction when you go to print.

In this hands-on course, you’ll learn how to set up a file, with proper resolution, and how to remove background elements using 3 different techniques/tools; ERASE TOOL, QUICK SELECTION TOOL, and PEN TOOL. You don’t need all three to create a design, but it will allow you to determine the best tool for you.
Follow along with the provided exercise file while I show you how to create a clipping mask, use the warp text tool, create and save your own Style and lastly, how to duplicate, resize, transform and fade out images.
Included:
In this course, we’ll go through the process of setting up a proper artwork template for your screen printing business. An exercise file will be provided for you to follow along.
A good template is more than a template, it’s an integrated registration system throughout your shop. It will streamline the workflow, from the art department, to the screen room and on to the press. Use it to have consistent placement of the art on screens so there’s little time wasted in positioning your screens on press.
You’ll learn how to Setup the Document according to your equipment, we’ll create our own Registration Marks and Grayscale Bar. We’ll add all identifying marks such as customer name, job name, color call outs and mesh counts. Once finished, save your file as a template, and it’s available for all future jobs.
